Can anyone shed any light on how we can save a report as *.doc. We wish to
keep all of the formatting etc.

currently the restrictions of IM are not acceptable in these days of
product integration.

we are using 6.5.
thanks in anticipation.

It would be appreciated if you would sign your name under your messages.
Saving reports into other formats is indeed one of IM's week points. SaveAs
PSR or HTML are the best. Many people also use Adobe Acrobat Writer.

apologies about name.. didn't realise that we had to set up the server
details etc & expected our em server to add it..

do you or anyone know if this is ever going to be addressed? as we need to
add copious amounts of textual data into the report to support the report
data generated.

It's been a long standing issue and I don't know if it ever will be
addressed. I strongly suggest you call Tech Support and / or your customer
service representative (if you have one) and indicate this is mission
critical for you.
In the mean time, saving to HTML is your best bet. Word & Excel have no
problem reading htm files.
