We are thinking about converting a 2T powerbuilder application to 3T.
We may want to access CICS also. The natural first choice is,
ofcourse, EAServer.

But, since powerbuilder can create COM components also, I am wondering
why should we spend about 7k or 20k for enterprise license for
EAServer, whereas, there is no additional cost, if we go with DotNET.

Doesnt it make sense to go with DotNET to deploy Powerbuilder NVOs as
COM components?

What would we lose by going to DotNET?

An additional piece of info is that the application would require
clustering since it is used by over 300 users.

I am looking for a good justification to go with EAServer. Appreciate
your thoughts.

Thanks.
