Using ASP for htmldw - wont connect to Easerver

I am running into a problem converting PD pages to ASP pages. Our
current environment is IIS5.0, ASP and EAServer 4.1.1 all on the same
server. I deployed PD (Using ASA database to hold site info) page from
PB8 and they all work fine.

However, I'm trying to convert these to ASP pages and am running into
problems. I have a simple htmldw which when called in the browser
comes back with the following:

Error Type:
Microsoft JScript runtime (0x800A1391)
'dw_1' is undefined
/testing/asptest.asp, line 15

Sometimes the ASP page opens but I get a message 'ERROR: Datawindow
definition not set'.

The datawindow on the web page is a DTC.

Just wondering if anyone had seen these messages?

there are issues involved with posting to moderated groups (such as
those run by Sybase) through services like google. The same issue
applies to posts made through your local ISPs newserver. In order to
ensure that your post reaches the server so that it can be responded
to properly, you need to either connect directly to the Sybase
newsgroug server at forums.sybase.com. Or you can use the web based
newsreaders at www.pfcguide.com or my.sybase.com that do connect
directly to the Sybase newsgroups server.
