I just signed up for Powershop, and saw that there was an API, so was
interested to have a look at it. I've setup an iPhone Project that
just logs in/out and shows your account balance for the properties/
registers that you have available.
I was going to add in the ability to update your registers, but then I
found out I actually have a Smart Meter. If anyone wants to modify to
the project just let me know, and I'll set up a user for you in svn,
read-only for everyone else.
Hope it's useful for someone. - https://svn.smudgeapps.com/Powershop
oh, and please, can we get an updated authorization html page for
mobile devices?
Cheers

Thanks for updating the page to be usable in MobileSafari, you just
need to tag the email address field so as not to automatically
capitalize.
I've fixed my version so that it now works as expected by the Terms of
Service, well as much as I know about them ;)
Will also need to change my login screen, as now when the app reopens
you see the login button, even though it's actually requesting the
customer data, will wait until I've read the full terms before I make
any more changes though, no point in wasting time implementing
superfluous functions.

Yes, while have yet to finalise the terms of service, one of the
conditions will be that apps do not capture Powershop username and
passwords - this is actually noted in the API documentation. The API
was modified in the last couple of days guard against this.
Thanks for the tip on the capitalisation - I'll pass this on to our
developers.
We will publish Terms of Service here as soon as they are available,
hopefully in the next week.
Ari.
