Hello everyone,

I have built several softrock RXTX's and I now have a softrock lite that I'm going to build to interface with my TS-950SD. I can not find any info on how to connect the softrock lite to the TS-950. I know the IF out from the rig goes to the softrock, but where? The antenna port? Then the output from softrock to soundcard. Does the USB from softrock still connect to the computer? I running Win7 with a M-audio Delta 44 soundcard. I have all my softrock RXTX's working perfect with PSDR 2.4. I loaded PSDR/IQ 1.9 and it controls my ts-950 just fine. I just need to know exactly how to connect the rig softrock and soundcard together.

Thanks
Alex

The IF output of the TS-950S goes directly to the antenna port of the softrock. That is it. -Scott

Scott the I.F. output from the rig goes to the antenna port on the softrock lite. The signal will be processed through the bandpass filter on the softrock and then through the stages after the filter. It will eventually be processed into baseband audio which is the I and Q left and right audio for the sound card. Regards, Roger AA1LY

Roger, you may be interested to know that Scott was the guy who wrote the PSDR-IF-STAGE software mod...

Jeff thanks for the info about Scott. Amateur radio brings together a lot of talented technical people and there is a real comradery between hams. This is the single ingredient that makes this such a great hobby. Regards, Roger AA1LY
