What is a Pledge?
A Pledge means – availing loans from financial institutions, banks against the equity shares owned by you. In a pledge, the shares are physically kept with the lender organization

How can I Pledge / Hypothecate Shares?
Hypothecated shares can be pledged only with those banks who are either Depository Participant (DP) or client of DP, by submitting a written pledge to the DP. The lender will be able to lend against these locked-in shares.

Nifty should breakout - Advance Decline indicator
This time around I was exploring more indicators and I am using Advance/Decline line as an indicator.

The theory of this indicator says - 
A bullish signal is given when the Accumulation/Distribution (AD) Line forms a positive divergence. Be wary of weak positive divergences that fail to make higher reaction highs or those that are relatively young. (Source:Stockcharts.com)...
