How to disable powerline for vim?

Good day.
In documentation I read, that powerline is enabled by default, when installed. I found, that for terminal prompt, powerline is very nice, but for [g]vim I prefer airline. So hence the question, how to disable powerline for vim?
Installed via aur on archlinux, if this is of any interest.

Try adding this to your vimrc to disable powerline:
let g:powerline_loaded = 1
