Bottom bar & weather info.?

I'm running Linux Mint 19.1 Xfce; I'd been using the standard terminal (Bash, right?), but I then came across screenshots of powerline; I was impressed about having a bottom toolbar that could include weather information.

As a NEWBIE to this Linux environment/stuff, how do I enable the bottom toolbar and include the weather information?  I'm using the default theme (powerline).

As much specificity as anyone can provide would be helpful; I refer to reference materials quite frequently due to my newness with this OS!

I am not aware of any weather station addins but I believe the bottom bar you're talking about is added through TMUX. Here's a link I found on it: https://fedoramagazine.org/add-power-terminal-powerline/. IDK if that's the best way to do it though as its the only way I know.
