History of Light (FIRE!)

It's short notice, but Benjamin and I are doing a History of Light series for kids- we'll be starting tonite 7-ish with fire- everything from candles and lighters to a campfire in the parking lot. So far I know of about 6 kids that will be coming, but would love to get more. Hackerspace Charlotte on Hawthorne. Call me with questions - 704 293 3399. We'll be trying to do something like this every Wednesday in some way, depending on interest.

He's currently working on building one of those flaming tubes that shoots flames with the rhythm of music - it'll be cool.

We also plan to experiment/play with fire extinguishers- which is important, since most folks never get a chance to use one until they need to- which is a bit late.
