Here's the link to some supporting docs. Anyone with the link can
edit. Anti-control rules.

I may not have made it clear enough from an original post:

If you follow this link to the amazon page for his 50 dangerous things
you should let your kids do book and then click the picture of the
book to LOOK INSIDE, you get not on the TOC, but some of the intro
information, and then the WHY? of all these things.

I like the way he did the format - with a page for notes, levels of
danger, etc... and one (his only rule) - "Don't Hurt yourself or
anyone else."

he follows this by saying "don't hurt yourself just because you didn't
pay attention to what you were doing."

Our admin assistant (who's on the list here - hey Lauren) asked today,
"when are you gonna stop yappin' and start doing something?" which is
embarrassing for me. I'll likely be at startup weekend this weekend
(still not decided- our big holiday is sunday) but she makes a
point...

Maybe just a get-together at my house in my yard to talk about fire in
a couple weeks? Could cook some kosher hot dogs, do the smores thing,
mess with a rocket stove, try to boil a ziploc bag of water, etc...

oh, as promised, more ideas:

basic woodworking - cutting, drilling, screwing, and the tools - my
daughter's going NUTS with the miter saw and drill press at
hackerspace.
poop- how do deal with it in all the ways that you have to deal with
it (camping, diapers, etc..)
how to use a ladder (esp. an extension ladder)
