Job Title: QA Analyst - Claims
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Detailed Description: * Conduct software testing of Oracle applications, third-party
software, in-house developed software, distributed client server and
web-based products for dental insurance carriers. Work closely with Business
Analysts, Development Team and Business Clients to develop test strategies
and test plans. Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing
for assigned projects, including review and regression test problem
resolution. Analyze, define and document issues and defects discovered
during testing. Develop and execute test cases. Support production support
team in troubleshooting and resolution of production issues. May be
assigned to various projects utilizing skills.
Skills/Experience:
Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering,
or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related
Software Engineer or Programmer Analyst position.
Experience and/or
education must include: 1. Software Quality Assurance techniques; 2.
Databases and SQL experience; 3. Testing Oracle applications customization,
configuration and vendor patches; 4. Preparation of Functional and
Technical test plans, test strategy and test execution; 5. Test tracking
tools such as Jira and Zephyr. Any suitable combination of education,
training, or experience is acceptable.
Required Skills: Manual Software Testing, Creating Test plans and Test Plans. Defect
management and reporting. SQL for data analysis and data creation. Working
in an Agile Team. Experience working in Jira and Zephyr test case and
defect management systems.
Desired Skills: Experience in Claims Testing. Knowledge of claim adjudication in
DXC's MetaVance claims engine. Any other claim processing system such as
FACETS. Healthcare company experience, Knowledge of HMO insurance and how
it works.
