Job ID: iOS Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Description: Development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end
services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers
working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment
to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of
quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and build e-commerce
applications for the iOS platform
- Ensure the performance,
quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to
define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct
bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality,
organization, and automatization
- Lead and mentor junior
developers
Skills
- Expert in iPhone SDK, SQLite
Database, iPad, X Code, XML-JSON Parsing, Location services, Social
networking integration like Facebook ,twitter
- Expert in Objective C
programming & Swift 3, Web service and Parsing JSON/XML.
- Expertise in iPhone
development, including implementing applications with standard iPhone/ iPad
UI components, creating custom UI.
Will this role be hybrid? Yes
If hybrid, how many days per
week will need to be in office? at least 3
days per week, will also require going to Walmart store for field testing
Top 3 Skills Needed or Required
- iOS development, Swift
- Expertise with Mobile App
Development with React Native and supporting libraries.
- Experience building
customizable, reusable, and dynamic components in Mobile APP UI using React
Native, Redux, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
- Must have strong knowledge
& hands-on experience UI components and building the app in React
Native environment on iOS devices.
What are the day-to-day
responsibilities?
- Primarily responsible for
delivering high quality technical designs and code for the product
requirements in a fast-paced agile scrum environment.
- Lead and participate in small
to medium-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating
requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for
example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and
developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues
to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross
functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring
on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project manager to provide
input on project plan; and providing leadership to the project team.
- Strive for continuous
improvement in efficiency.
- Troubleshoot business and
production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact,
criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the
resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as
designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further
action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of
issues; and completing online documentation.
