Sr. COBOL Developer
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 18 Months+
No H1B, OPT and CPT
Qualifications:
• The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s
Degree in Computer Science and a minimum
of 10 years of experience as a Sr. Cobol Developer.
• Experience with Fujitso NetCobol or MicroFocus
Cobol desired.
• Experience with relational databases required
(Sybase a plus).
• MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting a plus.
• Solid experience in full software development
cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software
development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams
with UAT testing, production support.
• Experience in the financial industry with
knowledge of trade flow and corporate actions a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
skills are required.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and
strong team collaboration skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Possesses the ability to work on multiple
projects simultaneously.
• Experience testing software designed for
elaborate business scenarios.
• Aptitude for learning new things and
flexibility to adapt and follow guidelines.
