大华府威风锣鼓形象将被登上Washington Post

各位队友：

有一个好消息和大家分享。

一张我队形象的代表照片（队友张平，参加去年蒙郡国际节）将于近几日内被刊登在Washington Post 上Gonging Out Gude Local （本地活动指南）版面，用以介绍下周日（19日）举行的蒙郡国际节（也翻译为“蒙郡多元文化节“）。

通常情况下，作为少数族裔，华人活动很少有机会被Washington Post这样的主流大报所报道。此次上报是因为我队去年在蒙郡国际节上的亮相极其惊艳，深受参会各族裔民众喜爱，因而今年被组委会选中以代表蒙郡国际节的多元文化主题。

Good news!  The attached photo is being featured in the Washington Post Going Out Guide local for Montgomery County to highlight World of Montgomery.  I gave them the name that we discussed yesterday “Chinese Traditional Drumming Team”.
