It looks like Starcatcher sent 1.1kw over 1km vs darpa record .8kw over 8.6km, both using lasers to solar diodes instead of RF to rectenas. Is sending 38% more power over 12% of the distance progress?  I'm sure it would be better in lunar vacuum but so would the DARPA version.
