Dr. Sanjay Vijendran, former head of ESA's SOLARIS SBSP initiative and now director of Space Energy Insights has just announced the 2nd edition of the International Conference on Energy from Space: 'Energy for Security' to be held in southern France 19-21 November.
Space Energy Insights, in partnership with Space Frontier Foundation, welcomes you to the world’s ONLY international conference dedicated to space-based solar power, uniting experts across energy, space, defence, policy, law, economics and beyond.
Following a sold-out event at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London last year, this edition is set to capture an even wider range of space energy applications, from defence to orbital data centres and beyond to lunar and in-space power beaming.
This year’s theme “Energy for Security” will showcase how space based solar power is shaping the future of the security landscape, on Earth and in space, delivering reliable, scalable, resilient and operationally flexible power solutions for a safer and more secure world.
