Hello Powder Team,
I am using the srsran-handover profile. It has the feature to capture packets of mac, mac_nr and nas layers but when I try to capture the packets in the UE by enabling all the layers(I am setting the parameter enable=[mac, mac_nr, nas]), it only gives me an empty ue_mac_nr.pcap file with no information of the packets and no files for the nas and mac layer.

Could you help me with this?

Best regards

Hi Kazi,

This may be an srsRAN bug. Since the NR MAC layer pcap is irrelevant here (LTE handover), maybe try disabling that one. If you still get empty captures for the other two files, let me know while your experiment is still running and I’ll have a look.

Hello Dustin,
Thanks for your informative response. I could save the traces of all layers by setting the enable parameter "enable = mac, mac_nr, nas" in this way.

Best regards,
Kazi
