Hi POWDER Team,
Hope this email finds you well. This is Zhenghao Zhang at Florida State University. Thank you and the POWDER team for providing such a wonderful platform which has become essential to our research.
I am writing with a quick question about the gnuradio_ota profile which belongs to PowderProfiles. We have been using it for most of our experiments and we usually just need to run the "tx_samples_from_file" and "rx_samples_to_file" commands. But we encountered an error today which seems to be related to the FPGA image:
"Error: RuntimeError: Expected FPGA compatibility number 38, but got 39:
The FPGA image on your device is not compatible with this host code build.
Download the appropriate FPGA images for this version of UHD.
Please run:
"/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/uhd/utils/uhd_images_downloader.py"
Then burn a new image to the on-board flash storage of your
USRP X3xx device using the image loader utility. Use this command:
"/usr/bin/uhd_image_loader" --args="type=x300,addr=192.168.40.2"
For more information, refer to the UHD manual:
http://files.ettus.com/manual/page_usrp_x3x0.html#x3x0_flash"
I tried to apply the suggested commands but I could not solve the problem. I was wondering if you could look into it and update the gnuradio_ota profile.
Thank you very much for your time.
Thanks,
Zhenghao
