Hello POWDER community.

I am very new to the OTA experimentation field so this might be a really silly question.

In the OTA lab set up shown in ota-lab.png (1123×794) (utah.edu), I see that the NUC compute nodes acts as the gNB. It also has the COTS 5G module which can allow it to operate as a COTS UE.  Can I have a single NUC node act as gNB as well as a UE?

The test system that I wish to setup in OTA is the same system that I set up using simulated RF in the attached figure. In simulated RF case, each node consists of 1 gNB and 1 UE separated using namespace. Can I make similar arrangements in OTA? If not, is there any way to setup 3 gNBs and 3 UEs in the indoor lab arrangement?

Please let me know. Thanks a ton, in advance.

This might be possible, but I think it would be better to adapt that profile to use the other X310s as gNBs. Send me an email if you would like to do that and need some help.
