We are requesting assistance recovering raw scientific evidence from a recently destroyed POWDER experiment.

Profile: PowderProfiles/srslte-controlled-rf
Physical nodes: nuc1, nuc2
Destroyed: 26 Aug 2026 at approximately 10:00 PM local portal time.

During the experiment, the raw scientific artifacts were preserved under:

/users/aayoub/wellpulse-powder-evidence/

The two principal archives were:

wp2-h1-valid-failure-20260826/nuc1-wp2-h1-evidence.tar.gz
SHA-256: 3e3d4c44847bfb7e6304de89d8c1cc05ff9722b6a54d93dd08ce0acfa7418210

wp2-h1-valid-failure-20260826/nuc2-wp2-h1-evidence.tar.gz
SHA-256: c5d3b212af015061c092c79025258a7f3378e3351051eef48318f12964af2593

Additional recovery-characterization and runtime-fingerprint artifacts were also present under the same directory.

We have since instantiated a fresh node under the same WellPulse project and verified that:

  • the artifacts are not present in /proj/WellPulse;
  • they are not present in /share;
  • they are not present in the user home visible from the new experiment;
  • only small persistent startup runlogs for WP-HCAL-E remain under /proj/WellPulse/logs.

Could you please check whether any backend snapshot, residual node filesystem, recently released disk image, or other recovery mechanism exists for nuc1 or nuc2 from this experiment?

We only need read-only recovery of the files; we do not need the experiment restored.

These files are raw scientific reproducibility artifacts and would be very valuable for record-level reconstruction of the experiment.

Thank you very much for any assistanc
