We love Flagstaff.  We came here for a job (my husband is an engineer for W.L. Gore.  Our previous job was in Boston, MA.  We were excited to get to the west coast so that we could finally afford a house :-).

We did not find a house and have been renting for since we moved here almost three years ago.  We have four boys and a 1400 square foot house.  Not exactly what we had envisioned.  But we are not leaving.  We sometimes toy with the idea after a particularly bad day of looking at houses.  However, we just love this town too much.

We like the sun.  We like the snow.  We love the schools - absolutely love them.  We homeschooled for a year and we like the great homeschooling community here too.  We love the people - all different types of people with different stories to tell.  We love going to Walmart and running into people that we know.  We love W.L. Gore - what a great company!  We love the library (that was what sold me on Flagstaff in the first place).  We love our church and the great people who are members of our church here (we are Mormons).  We love being able to drive down to Sedona on a Saturday in january and go on a warm hike.  We love to hike in Flagstaff in the summer.  We love going to musicals at the Flagstaff Light Opera Company.  We love the Flagstaff Festival of Science.  We really love this town.

Thanks,
The Ellsworth Family
