Dear Sir, Ms.:

This topic should not be limited just to Flagstaff.   No matter where I go in the Verde Valley to Phoenix, no matter what I read in the general newspapers and magazines for said areas it is obvious that builders are catering to the very wealthy in this country and abroad whom have callous disregard for those who were born or have lived in Arizona for most of their lives.  In short, it is becoming to expensive to live in Arizona and to compete with the wealthy.  When developers build expensive mega gated areas to keep out the less wealthy classes economic impact problems for the less fortunate are created.  Yes service jobs are created, however, service jobs do not allow one to purchase quality homes and the ever increases in property and sales taxes.
The other side of this dilemma is water.  It is fact Arizona for the most part is desert.  It is fact if to many people are drinking from the same water source, we will eventually (if not already) create a catastrophic situation.  It is fact to much growth for Arizona, considering Arizona's resources is not good, in fact it is ill conceived.  I also find it irresponsible, considering today's energy problems, that their is no electric rail system between Phoenix and Flagstaff.  Given there is adequate, for the most part, empty spaces between said areas, now is the time to build such a transportation system.  Gasoline is an environmental hazard;  engine combustion creates one of the most toxic of all poisons - dioxin. In essence, there is to much automobile use in Arizona - we need to conserve.....and now.  We need responsible people with virtue running this state and the country too.

Very Truly Yours,
