To Our Dear Fellow Parents,

 

Greetings! The Christmas season is forthcoming! Many of us parents find ourselves cramming for Christmas gifts to show our deep appreciation for the care and attention our Povedan community – faculty, non-teaching staff, manangs, manongs, and guards – have shown our children.

 

The Poveda Parents Association wishes to once again introduce "Aming Pamasko, Poveda" for this year's Christmas gift giving. In lieu of individual gifts, we are inviting you to contribute to a fund which will be shared by all. This Christmas fund will allow us to bring Christmas joy to all those who work on and behind the scene to make Poveda our children’s second home. Moreover, we strongly feel that our faculty and staff will have greater flexibility as to how to spend and enjoy their collective gift for their own families this Christmas season.

 

The following are the mechanics for your contribution/s:

1. Contributions in the form of cash and checks will be accepted.
2. Checks should be payable to Poveda Parents Association with the following information written at the back:

• Daughter’s name
• Daughter’s grade/level & section
• Aming Pamasko, Poveda 2013

• Enclose your contribution in an envelope and seal.
• Indicate the following on the envelope

• Daughter's name
• Daughter’s grade/level & section
• Cash or Check and Amount 
  

• Our secretary, Ms. Carrie Oriel will collect them from the advisers or department secretaries.
• If you wish, please bring your donations directly to the PPA office on the 3^rd Floor, Canteen Building, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. 

If you and your daughters wish to give gifts of your own, you may still do so as this is purely voluntary.

 

We urge you to support and give generously to this Christmas fund. It is a simpler way of showing our appreciation to those who care and assist our daughters in school throughout their stay in Poveda.
