In light of the decision to drop websql support from PouchDB, is there a plan moving forward on how to support SQLite?

There are many developers creating Electron applications, who used PouchDB with the node-websql adapter to manage
their external (file based) SQLite database. The Cordova SQLite adapter is not an option for these users. Are Electron
developer going to be stuck on legacy PouchDB versions?

If I remember correctly, the SQLite plugin continues to be around, just not shipped by default. You should be able to create a custom build that includes it.

If people want to use PouchDB on platforms not supported in core, then the code is up there (in git hisory) to revive and maintain. Happy to give anyone access to https://github.com/pouchdb-community to publish the code in a semi official way

Since Electron advertises itself as a package to use Web Technologies to build native apps, seems like they should support IndexedDB?
