Art and Pottery Summer Special Days

Hi all

We have had several requests to put on some Summer Specials so you don't suffer from creative withdrawal pangs in the break!

We've decided this year to offer three days of classes in Drawing and Painting and in Pottery which you may book individually or collectively.   

I do hope these may be of interest to you - please do pass the details on if you think someone you know may enjoy getting involved.

DRAWING & PAINTING~ Big, Bold and Botanical! 

In these sessions you will be guided to discover the freedom of working large scale (A2 +), expressively exploring plants and plant form.Basic drawing and painting and mixed media materials will be provided – Rod specialises in the use of acrylic paints and will help you to get some wonderful fresh results.

POTTERY: Themes and Variations

Take an idea for a journey to make several pieces, each one being a development of the last.  These sessions will be very open, offering opportunities to develop along a theme of your choosing using any of the three core hand-building techniques (pinching, coiling, slab-building) as well as some basic decorative techniques using coloured slips and textural effects.  

DATES: Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th August:

TIMES: 10am – 4pm
PRICE: Book individual days for £50 per day
Block booking discount – book all three days for £135
