Wow, that bites. I'm glad he's recovering.  Easy to forget how old these guys are getting (not just them, I fear).

Yeah, it really sucks. I hope his recovery will be relatively quick and painless. Thankfully Eric is an excellent drummer and knows the songs perfectly.

At recent shows here in VA, JR commented on this to the WnG crowd.  Phil survived what is known as the "Widowmaker" heart attack.  He's a very fortunate guy.

He's been up and about recuperating at home, but (obviously) is restricted from travel for an as-yet-unknown period of time.  Keep him in your thoughts (and prayers, if that's your thing).

Glad to hear that he survived it. Makes me wonder if he might retire from touring. He's only been doing half shows anyway. But I hope he gets back out there.
