Hello Laser Racers,
Tomorrow Dec 7, 2025 I'll be your PRO and Dan Miller will be assisting me.
Risk Assessment: Medium (cold water temps in 50s), SE winds about 5 kts, and low tide of 4:11 PM, and a high temperature of 42-45 F.
1. Skippers’ Meeting at Noon
2. Once on the water with races underway, we will come over and assist you if:
a. We do not see any activity on your capsized boat or we see you are taking too long to right your boat;
b. We see any waving for assistance.
3. If we (in the RC boat) have to pull up the anchor to assist a boat in distress, then we’ll attach an orange life jacket to the anchor rode so that the finish line remains in place. Then when you finish, just remember who was behind you and what race that was and report that to the RC once the race is over.
4. The first race will begin at or shortly after 12:30 PM and no races will start after 3:30 PM.
5. The final decision to race if winds are too light or too heavy will be made at the skippers’ meeting.
See you tomorrow!
Jim Klein
