First Sunday of the Spring Series is upon us.  Hope to see you at the marina tomorrow and on the water throughout the Spring.

Risk Assessment for tomorrow is not what I hoped to be writing, but any decisions in terms of delay or cancel will be made on-site tomorrow at the time of the Competitors meeting.  10:00 AM

Note - PFD's are required to be worn by all competitors and RC volunteers in PRSA events.  Club Rule.

As of now the forecast calls for.   Breeze, rain, cool air & cool water.  At the time we intend to be sailing out (approx 11:00 AM) the winds look to be in the 13-15 range with gusts anticipated to reach 30 mph.

Some rain forecast as well.  Precip expected to end mid day to early afternoon.

Air temperature may barely clear 50 degrees, and the water temp is in the upper 60's,  So hypothermia risk exists.   I encourage all competitors to dress appropriately.

High tide is 10:30 AM

But remember, this is the Potomac and the forecast isn't always what we get.  See you tomorrow morning.
