Updated Racing Rules of Sailing for 2025-2028

Greetings PRSA Sailors!
A new set of the Racing Rules of Sailing comes into effect in 2025. You can access the 2025-2028 rules via US Sailing here: https://www.ussailing.org/competition/rules-officiating/the-racing-rules-of-sailing-2025-2028/. There are some substantive changes that we all need to know, including changes to the rules concerning Obstructions, Mark-Room, Rule 17 on sailing a proper course, and Rule 18 on rounding marks. These are all common racing situations that often become contentious. Now is a great time to review the new rules.
