Am I the only one who still does not have Comcast service?

Dear neighbors--
 
Once the electricity came on, I found that none of my Comcast services were working--internet, TV, phone (luckily I held on to my Verizon phone line when I signed up for Comcast). It has been a couple of days, and I still don't have service (I'm using library computers when I can). When I called Comcast, they indicated that there was a widespread loss of service. Of course, they could not tell me when it might be fixed.
 
I would like to know if I am the only one in the neighborhood without service or if other unfortuante Potomac Springers are also suffering. Misery loves (miserable) company.

You are not alone. I don't have it either and comcast knows as I have talked to them multiple times. People with FIOS have their service. If you are desperate I would try to find a neighbor with that. Good luck. I am suffering, too. Because I need internet for my job.

You not alone. We at 18 Scotch Mist Ct do not have any of Comcast services. I am using blackberry to communicate.

Verizon FIOS never went out... expect for when there wasn't power.

Thanks. It is only 1 month since I dropped my verizon  internet (not fios) because my phone and internet were down for almost a month before they got around to fixing it, and they would never give me any useful information. I may have to consider fios if Comcast doesn't work out. Comcast has been very reliable for my TV service. I am hoping the recent problem is just a glitch unlikely to occur again.
