Αt our next meeting, I would like to make a short theoretical presentation on the main argument of Kontogiorgis which I believe can lie at the heart of our project:

History is circular - we are back at the epoch of Solon - pre-democracy / σεισάχθεια - Greece is the first country to enter in the 'next phase' of history = a direct victim of the status quo of politics and economics -

the first that can overthrow it = huge opportunity in current crisis - democracy is about to be re-born - this time not in the small scale of the 'polis' and the 'agora' but at the large scale, using new technologies

= the potato app?!?

This may sound crazy, but makes perfect sense if properly analysed, so I'd be grateful for 15' the next time we meet.

I was born in Athens and raised in Luxembourg. I have a BA from Cambridge University and an MA from City University London in Cultural Policy & Management.

I am fluent in 5 languages and have spent part of my 24 years studying and working in over 10 countries.

I decided to reject work opportunities abroad and return to Greece in May 2011 as a creative 'indignado' and work 24/7 connecting capable open-mided people, getting involved in several initiatives focusing on entrepreneurship, Cultural Diplomacy, Nation Branding, Public Policy etc..CHANGE.

Hi,

Good luck with the Entrepreneur Week in Athens today! I have just been in Cambridge University Entrepreneurs and met Mr. John Bird who is the CEO of a company with great social impact "Big Issue". There will be another startup competition here in Cambridge. The winner takes 5K£. Will post more information shortly.
