Dear friends,
We are writing from Birmingham where two (Sandra and Shyamala) of us are in a dance intensive organized by SAMPAD.  They brought together 19 dancers and choreographers from 4+ countries, with experience in Indian dances, for a two week intensive with mentors Navtej Singh Johar, Natasha Bakht, Hari Krishnan, Mark Baldwin, Stella Subbiah and Shobana Jeyasingh.  Its exhausting, but exciting!

August 14th we will be in London for a performance at the Nehru Centre (details below).  Meanwhile, Sangita is organizing a Bollywood Festival in Prague  www.bollywood.cz and Anjali is waiting for the arrival of her baby, due this month!

Coming Soon:
*The next Post Natyam performances in Europe:  Prague (Sept. 14) and Munich (Oct. 1) www.asa.munichmasala.de
*Contemporary Dance Workshop in Munich, Sundays in September, 1-4pm.
Please e-mail us for registration details, we'd love to see you there if you happen to be in Munich in September, or tell your friends who are!

Warmly,
Sandra, Shyamala, Sangita and Anjali
