knockoff sarah chalke, ex-fiance of elijah (an identical twin with a squidward voice), goes on a doctors without borders type trip and struggles not to fall in love with seth, the other twin with a squidward voice. really bad but we sat and cackled at the serial killer flashback she gets of elijah after she finally kisses seth. made the movie worth watching

Also literally why is it that whenever an Filipino person is on screen, they are covered in dirt and grime??? They have showers in the Philippines. Guess Charlotte and Seth have to have their white savior moments ?

This movie is just overall low-stakes, boring, and uncomfortable to watch. The casual racism was astounding and the love interest being the main character's ex-fiance's twin brother is...an interesting romance plot.

fofo porque mostra a importncia do trabalho voluntrio nessas regies mais perifricas, alm de dias histrias de amor. um filme vem leve de assistir, mas que uma nota ok (nada muito legal e nada muito chato)

Why were all their patients constantly caked in mud or had random Dickensian chimney sweep soot smudged all over their faces? Props to one extra who had his tank top very clearly cut with scissors right before the shoot.

This movie is preposterous as hell. Why the main character would go and do this program without more research to do her doctors beyond borders thing makes no sense. The male lead, aka guy who plays both twins, is terrible. Cadence of his speech is bad and the chemistry between him and the female lead is sub par.

What could possibly be better than two Vanessa Hudgens? The answer to that, obviously, is three. The newest Netflix original future Christmas classic is a smashing switcheroo with three identical cousins, love triangles, and treason. The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again is just as bad, in the most perfect way that it can be, as its predecessor. I know that the Christmas Prince franchise has quite the fan base, but I would argue that the Princess Switch franchise is far superior.

The twins' parents make tough but selfless decisions to give their sons the best lives possible. The Wades love their son and encourage him to follow his calling. Ryan has a loving and supportive wife and family. Jenny wants Ryan to pursue singing because it makes him happy.

Young adults smoke cigarettes in a couple of scenes (accurate for the movie's time period), and marijuana (called "hooty weed") is mentioned in an integrated music and dance club. Characters in clubs are also briefly shown drinking.

Parents need to know that The Identical is a family drama about an Elvis-like superstar whose "double"/impersonator is actually his twin brother. The movie's star (an actual Elvis impersonator) and many of the movie's biographical details are obviously Elvis references, but the movie is more of a faith-based drama than a Presley-sanctioned biopic. There's little-to-no language ("damn" and "hell," sparingly), violence (although a sheriff does strike the protagonist), or sex, but the movie's themes might be too mature for very young viewers. There's also some smoking, though it's accurate for the movie's time period. Although no knowledge of Elvis Presley is required, those who do know something about his life (like that he was born with a stillborn twin or that he had Jewish ancestry) will appreciate the various nods to his legacy. The filmmaker belongs to the Messianic Jewish faith, so there are overt references to special bond between Christianity and Judaism, as well as pro-Israel messages. During the height of the Depression, young couple Helen (Amanda Crew) and William (Brian Geraghty) Hemsley have identical twin boys they can't really support. On the day of their birth, William attends a revival where charismatic preacher Rev. Wade (Ray Liotta) shares that he and his wife (Ashley Judd) can't have children. The sermon gives William the idea to convince his wife to give one of their baby sons to the Wades; in return, they ask that the Wades not tell their son about his origins until both biological parents are dead. Years later, the mostly unseen Hemsley son grows up to be an Elvis-like rock pioneer known as Drexel "The Dream" Hemsley ... while the Wade-adopted twin Ryan (both are played by Blake Rayne) struggles to be a good preacher's son, even though what he really wants is to sing like his look-alike idol. The movie focuses on Ryan as he works various job and eventually finds that his calling is to become a Drexel impersonator dubbed THE IDENTICAL.

Even seasoned actors can't save The Identical from seeming like the kind of watered-down family drama that would have been better suited as a Hallmark special than a feature film. As a concept, this story had a lot of promise, offering an alternative universe in which Elvis' identical twin survived (in real-life, the second Presley baby was stillborn) and grew up raised by other parents. Of course, the filmmakers couldn't use Elvis' name, but everything about Drexel "The Dream" Hemsley was created to remind viewers of Elvis, including the casting of Rayne, who's actually a Presley impersonator. But unfortunately the filmmakers took their fascinating idea and turned it into a bland, whitewashed story devoid of the charisma that made Presley such an amazing performer. Rayne might look and sound the part, but he's not a capable enough actor to carry this story.

Another of the movie's major problems is that it focuses solely on the adopted twin, when it would have been so much more compelling to show both boys growing up into similarly musical men -- one a star, the other frustrated. Luckily for viewers, Rayne is surrounded by capable veteran actors, like Liotta, who does a decent enough job as the earnest preacher; Judd as the mysteriously never-aging mother; and Seth Green as the comic-relief drummer who's known Ryan since he as kid.

My tiny, blue-eyed, blonde-haired, twinkling toed precious ballerinas were born weighing 2 pounds 8 oz. and 2 pounds 2 oz. You can read their story here and here. From the moment they entered this world they have grabbed it by the tail and danced across every minute.

These vintage marble patterned pillows come in two different colorways and the insert is DOWN. Beautiful, wonderful, amazing down. The pillows look and feel super high end with a linen feel to the material and the soft, cozy feeling of down.

On December 21, 1938, Janice and her identical twin sister Phyllis were born in Carbondale, PA. Phyllis and Jan were a Christmas surprise for their parents, Raynor Milton and Jeanne Carol (Baldwin) Hankinson.

She loved growing up with her four siblings on Watson Blvd. in Endicott, NY. They spent their time outside, riding bikes around the neighborhood and engaging in shenanigans. She spent her summers at the IBM country club and exploring the Glen.

Jan graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1956 and met her future husband, Wes, soon after. They were married in 1958 and moved to Kansas City, MO, and by 1968, were the proud parents of three girls and two boys. They led full lives working, raising their kids, and attending their sporting events and activities.

Jan was an expert seamstress, making clothes for herself and the kids. Her yard was always full of gorgeous flowers flourishing among the wind chimes and garden fairies. She loved being outside and was often seen on her riding lawnmower, followed by a dip in the pool. Jan loved to swim laps for exercise and had the most graceful freestyle stroke. She enjoyed woodworking and crafting, and filled her home with family antiques and found treasures, which brought her joy.

Jan loved peppermint patties and plain M&Ms. Jan loved to laugh. She was a long-time member and board member of Kansas City Turners. She was the Pool Director at the Raytown YWCA and worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Jan also worked at The Pepper Tree Hallmark store in Raytown for many years.

Jan received wonderful end-of-life care at the Kansas City Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care so they may continue to provide services to terminally ill patients and their families.

I can't really explain why I eat the foods that I do while watching sports on TV. Normally I'm devoted to fresh ingredients--even organic ingredients--but some sort of voodoo takes hold when televised athletics enter the equation. Nachos? Bring it. Ruffles? Yes, please. And definitely, definitely pass the French onion dip.
