Imade a simple multiple-choice question with five possible responses and want to link each response to an individual page. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect each response to a unique page based on the number of choices the user selects.

I've read the link you sent me several times (thank you). Based on what you and the article is saying, I need to apply logic (or rules) at the end of each individual page so that TypeForm can determine whether or not to display the next question/page based on the first multiple choice question. However, I'm still not sure which logic (or rules) to use at the end so a "test" is performed after each question.

I'm trying to figure out the right formula to use to count multiple choices answers in one column in my sheet. I'm hoping to have this information roll up into a dashboard. But, for the cells that have multiple boxes/answers checked, it is only counting the first answer, not the others. Any suggestions?


@Andre Star No problem. I just shared copies of those sheets with you so you can see what I'm trying to do. I explained in the share message that we hosted an employee satisfaction survey through a SS form. The first sheet is the survey results/answers. I've created a second sheet to tally up the answers to rollup into a Dashboard with charts of the results. The multiple answer columns on the first sheet are not being tallied accurately in the second sheet. Only the first answer listed in the cell is being counted, not the other multiple answers. I had a question about setting up a LaTeX document. I'm not sure if it is proper to post such a question here, but I figured that many people here have experience with the system and might be able to help.


I've been asked to write a list of questions with multiple choice answers. The people who will be using it don't know much about TeX, so I need to try to make the code as robust as possible. I've written a command to automatically produce the multiple choice options: the command


What I'd like to do is add in a sixth argument that will take the answer to the question and then automatically append it to a list at the end of the document, essentially creating an answer key. The problem is that it's not clear to me how to call the sixth argument of every \mc command into an \enumerate environment at the end of the document.


The MBE consists of 200 multiple-choice questions: 175 scored questions and 25 unscored pretest questions. The pretest questions are indistinguishable from those that are scored, so examinees should answer all questions. The exam is divided into morning and afternoon testing sessions of three hours each, with 100 questions in each session. There are no scheduled breaks during either the morning or afternoon session.


The 175 scored questions on the MBE are distributed evenly, with 25 questions from each of the seven subject areas: Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts.


Each of the questions on the MBE is followed by four possible answers. Examinees should choose the best answer from the four stated alternatives. Each question on the MBE is designed to be answered according to generally accepted fundamental legal principles, unless noted otherwise in the question. Examinees should mark only one answer for each question; multiple answers will be scored as incorrect. Scores are based on the number of questions answered correctly. Points are not subtracted for incorrect answers.


Examinees have three hours in each session to answer all questions. All answers must be marked on the answer sheet within the three-hour time limit. Once time is called, examinees must put down their pencils; no more marks or erasures are allowed. Examinees will receive credit only for those answers marked on the answer sheet. No additional time will be allowed to transfer answers from a test booklet to an answer sheet, and only answer sheets will be scored.


On the Answer Key page, allocate the correct answers to each numbered question for your assignment. You can create multiple versions of the same bubble sheet assignment, each having individual answer keys.


On the Answer Key page, you can create up to five different versions of the assignment by selecting the +Add Version button. Each version can have its own answer key, point value, and scoring settings. To delete the last created version, select the red X.


If your assignment has multiple versions, instruct your students to mark their version on their answer sheet. Different versions of the same bubble sheet assignment can be scanned together as a single PDF file. You do not need to pre-sort the submissions by version; Gradescope does this automatically.


If we have been unable to automatically assign a version to a submission, you will be informed on the Manage Submissions page. The number of uncertain versions will be highlighted at the top of the page, and a question mark will be displayed under the Version column for the affected student(s).


Occasionally, Gradescope needs more information to be more confident about what a student has selected as their answer. This could be because the bubble was not fully shaded, or they changed their mind.


If your assignment has multiple versions, you can view, publish, and download grades for a specific version by selecting the individual version's tab located at the top of the Review Grades page. Select the All tab to action all of the versions at once.


If your institution has LMS (Learning Management System) integration enabled, you can post grades from your Gradescope assignment to the LMS via the Post Grades to [LMS Name] button on the Review Grades page.


On my answer sheet, I have the options printed in two columns to save room. Some of my questions, however, have more answers than will fit on a single line. They therefore wrap around to the next line. This causes two formatting issues that I'm not sure how to resolve:


1) I've used a hanging indent to try to line up the second line with the first when it wraps. This works for lines with single digit numbers, but not for lines with double digit numbers. Does anyone know how to fix this? Here is the command I'm currently using:


2) More troublesome is the fact that the boxes and their labels are split in two lines such that the box for choice "I" (for example" is on line one of the answer, but the label "I" is on the second line. Any suggestions for fixing this? Can I perhaps use something like \AMCBoxedAnswers on the answersheet?


Looking at the source you provided, it seems like a waste to draw all the boxes on the question, as they are only useful on the answer sheet.

From revision r1463, you can use \AMCBoxOnly:

The help option helps the student to make the correspondence between questions and question numbers, but also helps them to cheat: use it or not as you prefer.


I used this example:google apps script : a select drop down list in google sheetWhich was a good starting point for 1 question, and I tried expanding on it to get multiple answers but failed expanding it.

Item statistics are used to assess the performance of individual test items on the assumption that the overall quality of a test derives from the quality of its items. The ScorePak item analysis report provides the following item information:


For items with one correct alternative worth a single point, the item difficulty is simply the percentage of students who answer an item correctly. In this case, it is also equal to the item mean. The item difficulty index ranges from 0 to 100; the higher the value, the easier the question. When an alternative is worth other than a single point, or when there is more than one correct alternative per question, the item difficulty is the average score on that item divided by the highest number of points for any one alternative. Item difficulty is relevant for determining whether students have learned the concept being tested. It also plays an important role in the ability of an item to discriminate between students who know the tested material and those who do not. The item will have low discrimination if it is so difficult that almost everyone gets it wrong or guesses, or so easy that almost everyone gets it right.


To maximize item discrimination, desirable difficulty levels are slightly higher than midway between chance and perfect scores for the item. (The chance score for five-option questions, for example, is 20 because one-fifth of the students responding to the question could be expected to choose the correct option by guessing.) Ideal difficulty levels for multiple-choice items in terms of discrimination potential are:
