INDEPENDENCE DAY

Come join us as we celebrate Independence Day on the midnight of 14th August!   72 years ago, we made a tryst with destiny. We gained independence from British rule. And there wasn't one singular person who made that possible. It was the wish of the people of this country that granted it its freedom and lead to the creation of this country where one could live free of oppression. Where one could express their thoughts freely. Where one felt that they were at peace. And on this very day, NSS brings you the chance to connect to these people of the past, who sacrificed themselves to gain freedom from their liege and work towards a free India.   NSS IITD invites you to watch with us "RANG DE BASANTI"   On 14th August 2019 Be seated by 09:00 PM At Block VI LT2 followed by rendezvous at Wind-T at the stroke of the midnight hour where we would Shout Slogans, Speak our minds, and Unite ourselves under the tricolour flag     This Independence Day let us revisit our roots, recollect the meaning of independence, awaken the youth, and fight for independence, as it means to us today.
