Leadership For Change About the Event:
This is the culmination event of Fifth UN Global Road Safety Week in IIT Delhi (IRSC, NSS IIT Delhi) on behalf of the WHO Country Office for India.
This is to bring all the stakeholders(including professionals, civil society leaders, policy makers etc) under one roof for the discussion. The event aims at strengthening and creating long term leaders for road safety from multiple dimensions of society like youth, professionals, etc. The idea behind this is to create and empower road safety leaders so that they can #SpeakUp #Inspire #Lead for safer roads and better tomorrow. Senior Representatives from WHO, UN ESCAP, MoRTH, AIIMS will be the speakers for this workshop.
The event will comprise of Group Discussions, Sessions on Leadership in Road Safety and Guest Lectures by senior Bureaucrats. The event will witness the participation of students from colleges and schools and not for profit leaders from 25 cities.
It'll be an enriching experience for students to interact with representatives from the United Nations and World Health Organisation, MoRTH.
