DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry was founded in 2009 with a vision to find willing, HLA genetically matched donors for patients of Indian origin sufferring from fatal blood disorders like blood cancer and Thalassemia, a blood stem cell transplant is the last hope of survival. Such patients need a donor with a matching genetic type. Only 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 2 Million Indians find a genetic match. DATRI is India's largest registry with over 4,11,000 people registered as potential blood stem cell donors.
About the Event :-
NSS IITD in association with Datri is organizing a talk show to aware the community about the stem cells. The registration is a small process and will not take more than 5 minutes.
A camp is also being organized to register potential stem donors.
