tags being tripped from HTML when posting via API?

Hi,

I'm trying to use the API to upload content and it looks like it's
stripping some of the HTML, in particular <span class="x"> tags
containing syntax highlighting codes. Is there any way to stop this?

I don't believe their is a way to stop this.

Does the built-in syntax highlighting not suit your needs?
