Hi All,

Was wondering about Facebook's auto-scraping when you use the "like" button to post to Facebook wall. Seems that it is automatically scraping random images from the page for this, and was wondering how you could tag-out elements like contributor thumbnails so that Facebook would not scrape them for that purpose or just for the general link submission choice you get of image. If possible I'd also like to force Facebook to auto-scrape a given image on the page without giving the choice of all the others.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Matt

I think I've discovered my first answer -- <meta property="og:image" content="http://image you want to force scrape.com" /> in your header will force the image choice.

Would still be nice to know how to tag out certain page elements like contributor thumbnails for the general link submissions on FB.

Thanks,
Matt
