Hi

Would it be possible for posterous to implement the following
standards/protocols.

1. Portable Contacts - http://www.portablecontacts.net/draft-spec.html
Would it be possible for Posterous to support portable contacts in my
profile as well as FOAF? This is also linked to the new WebFinger
protocol supported by Google and Yahoo.

2. Salmon - http://www.salmon-protocol.org/
The salmon protocol is nearing completion and will enable people to
aggregate their comments/likes - would you please look at this
protocol and see how posterous comments could support this protocol.

3. ActivityStreams - http://activitystrea.ms/
Could posterous please look to support ActivityStreams so that every
post is an atom entry. Equally could you please change the RSS
support to Atom so that Atom extensions like AS and Gdata could be
used.

4. HTML5 -
As this new version begins to take shape could you look to support new
tags such as

<video>
<audio>

As well as RDF(a) to improve the SEO ranking of posterous sites in
Google and Yahoo

5. OpenSocial
Alongside ActivityStreams could you look at Opensocial spec to see how
Sidebar widgets could be supported

6. CommonTags - www.commontags.org
This is a simple add hopefully

HI Sam
Thanks for bringing this stuff to our attention -- it definitely makes
sense to add these as we grow our feature base.

Great list.

Could you add support for the HTML5 shim so that we can develop themes with HTML5 that are standards compliant?

Actually, we already have Modernizr loaded on the page, so you can use any HTML5 semantic element you'd like.
