Can anyone lend a hand? I've spent about 3 hours trying to get the new
footer bar to stay on the bottom of the page when clicking on comments
(from the main page). I don't want to "cheat" by simply adding more
padding to the bottom of my div. Anyway it would take a lot of pixel
height now with the new expanded comments that let people comment
without being logged in.

I have checked the latest version of Clean Sheet and it has the same
problem.

The style I tried to modify with an !important command is:

a#posterous_footerbar{position:absolute;left:0;right:0 etc etc

I added top padding - of course no good, just added more gray to the
top of the link

I added top-margin - again no good

I noticed an unhappy tweet from Cory Watilo a few days ago... with a
screenshot... so I figure someone at Posterous is aware of this glitch?

Posterous is aware of the bug. I'd just add a#posterous_footerbar {display:none;} until they get it fixed.

thanks Cory... love to follow your twitter by the way

also... am working on new business themes... creative commons... hope to launch by Monday next week... here's what I have roughed out so far... had a devil of a time getting the one click to load up right... still can't figure out how to code the css remark code for transport... I'm an old guy who shouldn't be allowed to play with code  :)

go ahead and play with it if you wish.. the one click install is cool

I wouldn't bother trying to make it work. Posterous knows about the bug, but they're all out on vacation this week.

Just add a#posterous_footerbar {display:none;} for now until they get it fixed.
