Adding a widget

I'm trying to add a widget to my sidebar and I'm not sure what I'm
doing wrong.

The html for the widget is:

I add within the Sidebar block. But nothing appears. Should the code
be within an Element?

Posterous doesn't let you put javascript in your themes. I embed it
