Release Notes for Posterity 0.5
===============================
August 20, 2007

We're happy to announce the first public release of Posterity.

Unlike most open source webmail applications Posterity is not just
a web interface in front of a legacy IMAP server. Instead Posterity uses
its own database based mail storage. This in combination with modern and
extendable architecture yields a fast, modern and user friendly webmail
client.

Great stuff!

I'm looking forward to support for pulling messages from IMAP and POP3
accounts.

Yes, this is definitely a feature I would like to get into the next
release, at least for POP3 accounts.

We've done some great progress since the last release so 0.6 shouldn't
be very far away

Cheers,
Jonas
