I am spinning up a Palo Alto VM 300 on AWS via terraform bootstrapping the vFW via using user data only. This is VM300 on 10.2.3 code. The vFW comes up ok and i dont see any errors in bootstrap as per AWS logs.

I am not able to login to vFW for the first time via console using admin/admin. its not giving me any option to change the password as well. Is there any other combination i should try, or can some one help with any suggestion so that i can login.

Dan - thanks for information. My Kenmore Elite Oasis (model #110.27042602) has gotten much louder during the spin cycle. Seems to be spinning fast and gradually going from slower to faster spin. Clothes may be slightly more damp ... just much louder. Potential Clutch Assembly issue? Correct part #? Also saw comments on Drum bearing and Seal ... possibly issue ... way to test? Correct part #? Both of these DIY repairs for folks handy at DIY things? Instructions with parts? Or on the Repair Clinic web site? Due to balance issue, I replaced the suspension damper springs/rods 6/18 and took care of that issue. Thanks - Doug

If the washer is making a loud noise in the spin cycle, the clutch assembly might be worn out. The clutch assembly makes the connection between the transmission and the inner tub. It is designed to allow the tub to get up to the proper spin speed gradually. As the clutch wears out it may become loud during spin or just after the spin cycle finishes. The clutch is not repairable, if it is loud or not working properly it will need to be replaced.

I changed the clutch. The noise has gotten progressively louder. Almost metal on metal. As it spins, every time the tub reaches the same point in the spin, is makes a louder noise. When it is off, I can spin the tub by hand and it spins freely with no noise or resistance. I do not think it is the tub bearing. Transmission?

I've got this issue. I think it's the bearing(s). You could/would need bearings, tub seals and pinion seal (to the transmission). And a "special" kenmore bearing tool but I think Amazon has something good enough for $20 like "Beaquicy W10447783 Tub Bearing Installation & Removal Tool - Replacement for Ken-more Whirlpool Washer" . Those included kit bearings are probably not correct for your washer.

I have purchased my samsung washing machine over 2 weeks ago. I just recently put in 3 jackets to wash. The drum was not completely full as it had more than a hands width space on top of the laundry. For some reason it was just getting stuck at 9 min. I did follow this guide -appliances/what-to-do-if-your-washing-machine-does-not-spin-...

I understand since 1 of the jackets is waterproof and the other is wool jacket it will get heavy when it goes in the rinse cycle. I had to take out 2 jackets and then put it on a spin again which did work. I shouldn't have to keep doing this. My old Beko machine would just do the job (it was not AI)

Why does it get stuck at 9 min when trying to spin ? I am still not fully sure why this happens .Should I just leave the washine machine when it does that and let it adjust itself. ? Does it even do that if it gets stuck at 9 min.

I suppose it depends what you want the machine to do and if you want it to wreck itself. - if it were to go into a spin when items in drum are unbalanced then you would risk drum jumping and banging all around inside the machine, could even rip the grey door seal rubber, or smash the glass on the door, wreck the drum shock absorbers , wreck the drum bearings or plastic pulley spider at the back of the drum .... even make the machine walk across the kitchen floor as it jumps about, then pull on the water inlet pipe and flood the kitchen! - yep, its sure to say you would have wished it stopped at 9mins and didnt go into a spin cycle and be praising Samsung on this forum and saying what an intelligent washing machine that rather than wreck itself it has features built in to stop it going into spin if the contents of the drum are not balanced properly

but seriously what you have to do in that case im afraid as frustrating as it is, is to take some items out like you did and then see if it will go into a spin , or sometimes actually add some items to the drum (without overloading it) to help it balance the load to go into a spin - I cannot really answer why your old Beko did go into a spin regardless sorry.

Dont worry , it wont on every wash ... only every now and again - once in a blue moon normally. I have had my Samsung for about 2 years now. - I had a Hotpoint machine before ... that used to do the same, once in a while too . Now , if it done it on every wash I would indeed be peeved.....

well maybe you have got a fault with it then - who installed it, was it yourself . did whoever install it make sure all the transit bolts out, that the washing machine is level , and that the calibration program was run before first use without any washing in the drum?

not being smart, its just a common thing that a lot of people overlook these things when getting a new washing machine. its easily done, and can affect the workings of the machine.

Try also a low spin speed of 400rpm say , sometimes the washing machines are more likely to have a go at spinning un-balanced load at 400rpm rather than set to 1400/1600 spin speed
