Is this Postbox forum abandoned?

This forum has obviously been invaded with junk posts and whoever is the administrator has not banned the individual. Maybe it's unimportant, since it appears Postbox has abandoned their product.

Postbox ostensibly does not support a public chat forum or group.  Their given reason, (which I personally disagree with) is that advice from non-experts might harm the Postbox user experience and so they don't support such a thing.

So this forum is not from Postbox-inc, it's from another interested party.

While it may be that the Postbox product is moribund, the maintenance of this discussion group is a separate issue.

I'm hoping both the group maintainer and the Postbox company both wake up a bit.  I'd hate to have to change email clients again.

I just followed the "contact owner" link to send mail to the group owner asking that the spamming accounts be banned.

In an unfortunate Catch-22, the message bounced saying that the troup does not accept email to owners and managers, and sends me to the same link I used to try and make contact.

We may have to simply abandon this forum and create a new one with a group of owners who will actually allow contact, and will actually maintain the list.

Your idea makes sense. That is, create a new forum and keep it alive. Google Groups could be a possibility, as I think that allows multiple moderators that should prevent abandonment.

Okay, I sobered up; let's let it die. Life is short. There are few posts here anyway and Postbox has made it clear that user support is not going to happen. I am hereby signing off of this forum. Thunderbird has made enomous progress in past year -
