Noob: Resize Attachments & Creating Rules for "Read"

Making the move from Mac Mail to Postbox. Finally.

Two questions:

a) Auto-resize attachments: In Mac Mail.app you can resize images on the fly, by selecting Actual Size, Large, Medium or Small from the pull-down menu.  Is there a similar feature for Postbox that I haven't come across?

b) Rules: I have a Gmail account that's a back-up for all of my work emails.  In MacMail, I've setup rules to have any of these back-up emails set to "Read" automatically.  Advice?

For b)

Check out Gmail's filter feature. This will set your mails to read before they are even fetched by Postbox.
