Keep receiving the same email, over and over.

Hi, hoping someone can offer some insight in to why I keep receiving the same email over and over again.

The email originally arrived at 10:47 on Thursday 18th April, it has since been received by my Postbox application in excess of 380 times (all with the same date and time).

Interestingly, my iPhone mail programme does not receive these duplicate emails.

More frustrating, is that since receiving the original rogue email I have stopped receiving emails to my email address in Postbox.  The emails to my address are still being sent and received on my iPhone.

Any ideas what is going on, and if there is a way to resolve the issue?

P.S. I have other email addresses that I use through the Postbox program and they are all working as on would expect.

I had, and sometimes still have, the same issue, but only 2 to 4 duplicates, most often 2. The PostBox team has never been able to solve the problem. However, it is really intermittent and I did not experience it for a while.
Did you ask the support? They should know (although programming does not seem to be their cup of tea).

I suggest you send a test email to that address to see if you can follow it. If received on your phone, but not within Postbox, check junk folders and also junk settings at Options>Security to see what disposition is selected. I would also check the online account after the message is retrieved from the phone to see if the message is in inbox or another folder. I am assuming this is an IMAP account so, in worst case, you could redefine the account.
