Normally I compose emails directly in Postbox, but recently I wrote something in Word with formatting (simple stuff like Bold, and hyperlinks) that I then decided I wanted to send in the body of an email instead of as an attachment.  I tried copying and pasting, but it would not paste unless I did it without formatting.  I know that I can add all of this formatting manually in an email compose window, so why can't it accept it by pasting from elsewhere (like Word)?

Is there some work-around to paste formatted text into a new email and have it keep the formatting?

Regards,

And I guess I should add that I'm on a Mac, 10.8.5, with Postbox 3.0.9 and MS Word 2011 (v.14.3.9).

Tom, you might try being more selective about the text you highlight. If you do a Select All, you may be getting additional formatting and/or hidden characters that Postbox and HTML can't handle.
