I am not inherently like super interested in gamedev but rather i want to make sort of simulations but ofcourse with control over certain aspects and i could make some games along the way. i searched google didnt find the answers i was looking for... I have learnt python... DARKBASIC caught my eye cuz its basic and i learnt basic and it seemed kinda easy... So do people use darkbasic..? Is it slow? can i use it? is it hard?
The basic elements of the development were developed by Dan Grossman, Trevor Jim and Greg Morrisett from Cornell University in designing and implementing the Typed Assembly Language (TAL) with strict typing.
The parathyroid glands of 14 deceased diabetics were investigated as well as nine control non-diabetics. Various in character and degree histological alterations were observed during the morphological investigations of those glands: mild or better manifested hyperplastic alterations (six cases), microadenoma (one case), focal vasculary determined atrophia (two cases, total atrophia of involutive type (two cases), close to the control alterations (three cases). Hyperplastic alterations are established most frequently in the presence of diabetic nephropathia and azotemia. They could be explained with the development of a secondary hyperparathyroidism, associated with chronic renal insufficiency. In single cases, an effect of the disturbance of the calcium-phosphorus metabolism in diabetes is admitted. Changes in the parathyroid glands, from the type of generalized diabetic microangiopathy, is suspected in one of the deceased patients. Two microadenomas were found in another case, predominantly with dark basic cells. No dependence was established between the morphological alterations and the severity, diabetes form, nor with the presence of pyelonephritis. Certain dependence was established between the age of the deceased and the stage of the azotemia.
This course provides expert guidance in the skills law enforcement officers need to conduct successful online investigations. Topics include IP addresses and domains, an overview of currently popular online social media platforms, best practices for building an undercover profile, foundational knowledge related to the dark web, and recovery of forensic evidence from the dark web. Instructors demonstrate both open source and commercially available investigative tools for evidence collection and recovery of forensic artifacts associated with online social networking and online social media. Automated tools to crawl websites and preserve online evidence are also demonstrated.
Abstract: This study aimed to explore the associations between a broad range of dark personality and affective traits with the intention of further developing the affective properties of dark personality. Seeing as most studies have focused on unitary trait measures of dark personality or higher order feelings, there was room for improvement in developing their affective nomological network. Specifically, the study examined relationships among psychopathy, narcissism, Machiavellianism, sadism, and spite in conjunction with basic affective traits derived from the affective neuroscience personality scales (Davis & Panksepp, 2011). An evolutionary perspective was used to develop clarity for the emotional language present and as a general starting point for emotional understanding. The methodology consisted entirely of self-report typical in personality research. Controlling for sex differences, correlations between the dark personality traits and affective traits showed that angry and caring feelings were most consistently associated with dark personality. Overall, this advanced the literature by giving a detailed account of how a broad range of basic feelings are related to socially aversive temperaments.
Outcrops of igneous rocks of unknown age occur in two Kansas counties. In Riley County three small pluglike masses of dark basic rock are exposed, and in Woodson County a granite dike is exposed. The Riley County igneous rocks are intruded in sedimentary rocks of Wolfcampian age, and the Woodson County granite cuts rocks of Missourian age.
One of the most fundamental questions that scientists face is to try to figure out what the universe is made of. We know that dark energy is the largest component of the universe, accounting for about 74 percent of the mass and energy that exists combined. If we want to understand the components of the universe, we have to understand dark energy.
The findTwilights function find twilight times bysearching for adjacent nights, but is unable to search beyond aperiod of light or dark spaaning greater than 24 hours. This functionfinds extended periods of light or dark that span more than 24 hours.
Section 101 may be familiar to readers of our Stupid Patent of the Month posts. This part of the Patent Act helps ensure the patent system promotes innovation by limiting what can be patented. Section 101 prohibits patents on laws of nature, things that exist in nature, and abstract ideas. These are basic building blocks of science that no one could have invented, and all of us need to fuel further innovation.
Facing the low contrast and heavy noises in images taken from coal mine tunnels, this paper designs a new depth neural network for low-contrast denoising, denoted as the LCDNN, based on the powerful denoising ability of the SSDA and the feature leaning ability of deep neural network. The proposed network consists of a contrast enhancement module and a denoising module, each of which is a separate SSDA. The enhanced image is obtained by minimizing the noise and improving the contrast. The proposed network was applied to denoise and enhance low-contrast images taken in a coal mine tunnel. The enhancement effect was compared with that of several popular image enhancement methods. The results show that the LCDNN outperformed the contrastive methods in all areas, leading to high contrast, low noise, rich details and good visual effect. The proposed network offers an effective tool to automatically learn basic signal features and noise structure from low-contrast images.
