Hi all

There was an error in 2.3.5 that prevented to determine the correct wuapi version. This is particularly true in old xp versions:

In cases like this:

12.06.2015 14:15:18 1436 Wuapi updated: True

12.06.2015 14:15:18 1436 Redist version: 7.4.7600.226

12.06.2015 14:15:18 1436 WU client version: 7.6.7600.256

where the client version is banally lower than the redist version, the program fail to understand the difference (Wuapi updated: True).

Two methods to remediate:

1) Manually check and, as in this case, run the new version of the agent (WindowsUpdateAgent30-xxx.exe) 

2) Use the new 2.3.6 beta at address http://www.portableupdate.com/public/beta/PortUp_2_3_6_87fa321e4f1bce1f845a858bf20f96047ade51c4.zip

More, now is POSReady 2009 compatible!

activex component can't create object

because on my vm I can't reproduce the error, please describe me your environment: 32 or 64 and which other programs are installed.

Hello, I have the same issue as Mk Atr, 

I'm running Windows 10 (build 10130) x64  in am VM.

It's a clean installation, without any extra software on it.

Ok. Resolved.

Seems that the Automatic Updates interface was cut off only from the 64 bit edition of 10130.

The Automatic Updates interface permits to read some informations like last search data and to set a date and time for doing updates.
